Why not now...

Everyone wants to get in shape, but most people do not want to do the work required to get in better shape. I am one of them :( Well, let me not say that, but it is true. We want the abs, but do not want to put the effort or discipline to achieve it.

It is going to be a great journey and I can not wait to see the outcome. I will be travelling quite a lot in the next couple of weeks, so it will be interesting, plus a toddler in tow.

Next week, I will put up my stats (you know size/weight, yikes!!!) so I can follow through with the plan.

To your health.

It's a new day

Okay, first things first. After much reflection, I decided to postpone the starting date for my 90 day challenge organized by my friend Bernice Lakota at Forever Young Revolution. Yeah, I know...not a good sign, but no worries. I have started to implement some of rules to my dietary lifestyle. So, before starting on the 1st part of the challenge (21 days), one most do a 3 day "start up detox."

Please see below the fruit salad I created following the FYR rules. Not bad right?

Here is another dish that is permitted on the FYR lifestyle. It was so refreshing and good, as well as filing. I was quite surprised.

Black beans in a wrap

The journey begins....

It all Begins with a Decision

In a few days, I will be undertaking one of the greatest challenges of my life. It is a complete change on what I eat, and how that affects my overall health. For the past couple of years, I suffered from severe nasal allergies. I was healed from the constant sneezing, itchy, running nose and throat. Then something else come up. POST NASAL DRIPS...Ah, so annoying!!!

After some research, I landed on of my friend's blog called "Forever Young Revolution." She has always been a great example of what it means to "TAKE CARE OF ONESELF." So I decided to undertake her recent 90 day challenge, starting January 31st. It will be a great motivation and I hope to hear from others who are taking their eating habits to a new, healthy level.
